Prospur’s Angel

We are fast approaching the season of giving. The time all
young humans look forward to. Such a magical time, when we get to witness
humanity at its best. When we get to experience the capacity of the human
heart. So today, in the spirit of Christmas, I wish to share the following
story.

We met a gorgeous little boy a couple of years ago. The
Vista Nova school bus drops him every day just outside our office. In the
beginning, we would watch him walk by with his mom, without realising the effect
he was having on us. In time, we realised we looked forward to his arrival and
watched out for him every day. Then last year Sharry suggested we make a
Christmas box for him. And so our relationship with Phelo started.

Such a simple gesture made a world of difference in this
kid’s life. Since then, he pops in to give us all hugs and kisses, every single
day. We have become a part of his daily routine, how precious is that? 

So today I ask you, please make a difference in a little
one’s life? The box we made up for him last year did not break the bank in any
way, but the result is priceless. And if I may make a suggestion, there are so
many kids needing love. And the best place to find them would be at Red Cross
Hospital. There are lots of kids, particularly in the Burns Ward, who require
personal love and attention.

Our young angel now attends Bel Porto, which is a school for
